Symptoms of ADHD
ADHD affects people’s behaviour. For many people, symptoms lessen as they age. But for others, symptoms of ADHD will continue and create significant challenges with daily functioning.

What happens in an ADHD assessment?
You’ll work with an experienced, specialist clinician to fully understand your thoughts, presentation, and experiences. They will gather information from multiple sources, including symptom checklists, behaviour rating scales, and family members or other people who know you well.


Types of ADHD
There are three main subtypes of ADHD. If you receive a diagnosis, we’ll identify which one you have before giving you a practical, evidence-based treatment plan to help you confidently move forward.

After your assessment, we may suggest further treatment or services, such as techniques to improve organisation and time management. We may also recommend approaches to help you manage tasks and provide strategies to improve impulse control.
